I LOVE eggs but sometimes I need to switch it up.
This recipe uses the protein benefits of egg whites but with a sweet cinnamon flavor! Give it a try and let me know what you think,
Ingredients:
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 Tbsp Stevia (or other zero calorie sweetener)
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
3/4 cup Egg Whites
2 slices Dave's Killer Bread, Thin Sliced
Toppings: (optional)
1 Tbsp Sugar-Free Syrup (I use Waldens Maple Walnut)
Berries (carbs)
Nut butter (fat)
Butter (fat)
Directions:
1. In a flat dish, large enough to fit a slice of bread, combine cinnamon, stevia, vanilla and egg whites. Dip and soak 1 slice of bread in mixture. Be sure to turn so both sides are coated.
2. Heat a small fry pan. Coat with non-stick cooking spray. Add soaked bread to pan and cook until golden brown. Flip bread to toast other side. Repeat for second slice of bread.
3. Add toppings that support your macros and enjoy!
